introduction

Candles

Keep sakes don't have to be expensive. Simply lighting a tea candle to remember your cat will keep them alive in your home. Light one on their birthday, the day they were put to sleep or any day you want to think about the amazing memories you had with them.

If you are looking for something personal you can purchase engraved candles and tea light holders printed with one of your favorite pictures.

Displays

Shadowboxes are a great way to display keepsakes of your pets. We display dried roses which we purchased the day Colin was put to sleep, one of his favorite toys and a personalized metal plate. You could even add your favorite photos.

Another way to display your pets keepsakes is on holiday events. You could add one of their favorite toys to your christmas tree.

Paw Prints

The Oh So Precious ink frame with photo is great for capturing your cats paw prints. The ink pad only touches the card so your cats paw is protected. You press their paw onto the ink pad which then imprints their print onto the card. As cats paws are smaller than dogs paws, you can use both paws on the ink pad and try multiple times. A frame is also supplied which can be wall mounted or made to self stand.

Pet Fur

When its time for your pet to be put to sleep ask your vet to shave some of their fur for you. This is a great way to remember your pet as it can be displayed on a shelf or next to their ashes. Don't forget to ask for different tones if your pet is multicoloured.

This can also be used to display ashes if you want to share your pet with your friends and family. Please make sure to secure the cork to ensure your pet does not escape.

Photos

Photos help keep your pets memories alive. You don't know how long you have with them so take a photo or video from time to time. Montage frames are a great way to see all of your favorite memories. You can use a digital picture frame or smart speaker that has a display to rotate through your special memories. If you don't have a lot of room to display photos you can alo purchase personalised photo books that allow you to store all those memories in one place that you can look at from time to time.

Urns

Urns can be a personal preference. They are not for everyone as some prefer to burry their pets in their home garden. Urns can be a great purchase as they can give you time to reflect and decide on what you want to do with their ashes. Speak to your local vet about ordering an urn in advance.
